Code of Conduct does not mean enforcement, which, unfortunately seems to be the solution.
I suppose the easy answer is, you don't want to work for these individuals or organizations. Things appear to be so clear in the conduct outlines proposed, but real-life issues are hard to define. At times, the rose-colored glasses come off in hindsight based upon customer response. Does this mean I am ignorant? No, I do not believe so, but I do think this is a complex issue that cannot be solved by a creed/code. The solution is practiced steps of defined behavior and consistency - a case-by-case basis does not cut it.
