Generally, I do not like to comment about blog eruptions - not because I have no opinion, but it is just that...opinion without all the facts. Every blogger has something to say and my comment would be lost among the many posts. In the case of Windows Vista/Edelman, I do have something to get off my chest, but it is not directly related to the uproar.
Scoble and Hobson are right on the money about the issue being transparency. B.L. Ochman is "screaming bloody murder" about the ethical agendas. Funny, but would someone please help me understand how B.L. Ochman can write about ethics when she created the Ethics Crisis blog for people to anonymously post their most unethical business deed? Where is the transparency and accountability there? More like a confessor's haven to lift one's burdens. I asked this question in FIR #135...practice what you preach; rather, don't preach.
The name of this blog is based on the CA 12 Step Program to become a better communicator...focusing on yourself for the betterment of the industry. Far from being anonymous, the voice of this blog is clear.
