My incredibly talented pals Kami Huyse (@kamichat), Beth Harte (@BethHarte), Shonali Burke (@shonali) and Arik Hanson (@ArikHanson) will be hosting #accredchat on 5 June at 1pm EST. There have been continuous debates about whether accreditation is needed and/or appropriate for the communications industry. (I was going to link to the APR conversation on The Flacker blog last week, but apparently the blog has since been deep sixed.)
Tomorrow, I think will be great, real time conversation delving into this controversial issue with communication industry leaders. As I have stated in the past, I was not always fond of accreditation, but have since changed some of my opinions since being an APR candidate. You cannot change something unless you have experienced it or understand the processes that made it so.
